Walking the Road to God
JMJ
Laudentur Iesus et Maria! 'Praised be Jesus and Mary!'
I received an official mandate from Holy Mother Church to go out into the highways and the bi-ways to search out the lost sheep of Israel and the Gentiles. I joined the ranks of all the missionaries from St. Paul, to St. Bonifice to St. Patrick, to Fr. De Smet, St. Isaac Jogues, St. Francis Xavier, St. Louis de Montfort, St. Francis de Sales and St. Martin of Tours.
In the ensuing years I have received mandates to New Orleans, Louisiana; Phoenix, Arizona; Raleigh, North Carolina; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Dayton, Ohio. A handful of souls have been received into Holy Mother Church and others are inquiring about entering the safe ark that leads to the gates of heaven.
I have been given the joy to pray the Rosary and arm the souls in these streets with this secret weapon, welded by God from 1214 AD, into a true spiritual sword. I have received a missionary Crucifix and blessed dozens of people every day with it from those who honk, those who stop their car in a parking lot, to those travelers on the sidewalks. The chief sacramental of the Church is the sign-of-the-cross. I think of the nation of Israel exiled in Egypt when they were commanded to take a spotless, first-born lamb, sacrifice it and sprinkle blood on the top, bottom and both sides of the door posts forming the sign-of-the cross, informing the angel of death to pass over those houses marked with this spiritual symbol. This cross in Egypt was a type, or foreshadowing, of the cross that Dominus Noster Iesus Christus died upon. I liberally give out my priestly blessing to these traveling souls, pilgrims like all of us here on earth, bearing in mind the prevenient grace sprinkled on their souls like the priests in the Temple would sprinkle blood on the horns of the altars with a hyssop branch.
What will the next years bring? If we have faith the size of a mustard seed we could move mountains, we could move souls to enter into the Holy Churches and come to the Holy Sacrifice of the Spotless Lamb, Dominus Noster Iesus Christus, in order to receive Him, in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, as a pledge for eternal life.
May what God has begun bring it to its fruitful end.
